Making Local Facebooks Ads Effective

In the recent past I’ve posted blogs and articles about how to get started with advertising on Facebook. I’ve talked about how to reach your market with precision interest targeting and broad category targeting. I’ve covered various ways to establish yourself as the expert and execute your marketing through a 3-phase funnel (Visit My Blog- Are You Reaping The Rewards of Facebook Advertising?)

Now, I’m going to address a couple of the features that make local Facebook ads effective. First and foremost, local ads only work if your business has a physical location that you want to drive real foot traffic to. If your business falls into this category, then locally targeted Facebook ads can be a great fit for you.

The reason they work so well is that Facebook gives you the ability to pinpoint your target down to the mile, giving you the ability to create excitement with limited windows of time for a special offer.

You’ll want to create an offer or event. Then set up a few Facebook ads that appear only to people within a short distance of your store. Set these ads up to appear a few days prior to the event and on mobile devices while the event is happening. This can be particularly effective when you are able to reach some people the day of the event who happen to be in the area and checking their Facebook account on their smartphones.

Make sure your ad is visual, relevant with clearly communicated time and offer. Be sure your offer is valuable and the value is easily seen. Make sure the ad has a clear call to action. You can study the ads that appear on your Facebook page to get a sense of how others are doing it.

With several ways to approach your Facebook advertising, it helps to have someone who knows the ropes guiding your efforts. Want to learn more about Facebook advertising and other digital marketing best practices? Subscribe to my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/makarandutpat
